MidosaXML
Erstellung einer Beständeübersicht
Vorgehensweise in MidosaXML:
<br /><a href="../../../milchling/index.htm" target="top"><font color="green">[Online-Findbuch]</font></a>
<Verzeichnis für die Online-Findbücher>
Creating an overview of collections
Procedure in MidosaXML:
- The tectonic is displayed in the classification of the collections overview.
- For each collection a description unit is created within the classification.
- A short definition of the collections is entered in the Element title.
- A detailed presentation can follow in the Element contains/therein.
- A short definition of the collection is shown under the order number.
- In the case of an existing online finding aid, the Element sub file includes the link in the complete HTML classification, for example:
<br /><a href=”../../../milchling/index.htm” target=”top”><font color=”green”>[online finding aid]</font></a>
br, so that the link appears in a new line underneath the short collection description.
The relative (or also the absolute) path to the online finding aid must be inserted after href. In this case, the directories for the overview of collections as well as for the online finding aids are positioned on the same level, for example:
<directory for the online finding aids>
- <collections> for the collections overview
- <papritz> online finding aid for the collection left behind by Paptriz
- <milchling> online finding aid for the collection 340 Milchling in Schönstadt
- <elnhausen> online finding aid for the collection of the Parish Archiv Elnhausen
- <etc..>
Target = “top” means that the online finding aids are opened in a new browser window.
With font color, a color for the text [online finding aids] can be specified.
Instead of the text [online finding aids], behind which the link is positioned, reference to a graphic button could also be integrated.
Links to existing online finding aids
When the links to an online finding aid is specified in Element sub file (see above), the reference [online finding aid] appears in the main frame of the online collections overview, on the left side under the short definition. Via click a new window above the collections overview can be opened with the finding aid. To return to the collections overview, close this window again.
